Haydar Çolakoğlu is a member of the Board of Directors of TEB Holding and also serves as a deputy chairman at both Çolakoğlu Metalurji and Egegaz.

Acquiring state-of-the-art technologies for the country through its investments has always been a matter of importance for Çolakoğlu Metalurji and the 2007 renewal of its steel mill and introduction of flat steel production are reflections of this attitude. More recently the company continued to maintain its trailblazing position in the sector with Turkey’s first privately-owned hot rolling mill.

TEB Holding AŞ was founded in 1980 as İlkesan Yatırım ve Geliştirme AŞ, an investment and development company. In 1998 its name was changed to TEB Mali Yatırımlar AŞ (TEB Financial Investments Inc). On 10 February 2005, control of a 50% stake in TEB Mali Yatırımlar was transferred by the Çolakoğlu Group to BNP Paribas, one of Europe’s leading banks. On 30 March 2011, TEB Mali Yatırımlar’s name was changed to TEB Holding AŞ. The company is a joint venture of Çolakoğlu and BNP Paribas.

Haydar Çolakoğlu is the founder and CEO of YOLO, a mobility-as-a-service network whose aim is to transform journeys through urban landscapes into “YOURneys”.
