BIOGRAPHY
Haydar Çolakoğlu is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çolakoğlu Holding. He also serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board at Çolakoğlu Metalurji and Egegaz. In addition, Mr. Çolakoğlu is a Board Member of TEB Holding and the Chairman of the Kastamonulular Platform.
Founded in 1945, Çolakoğlu Metalurji has always considered acquiring state-of-the-art technologies for the country through its investments a matter of importance. The 2007 renewal of its steel mill and introduction of flat steel production are reflections of this attitude. More recently, the company continued to maintain its trailblazing position in the sector with Turkey’s first privately-owned hot rolling mill.
TEB Holding AŞ is a joint venture of Çolakoğlu and BNP Paribas.
Haydar Çolakoğlu holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Princeton University.
